Jewelry Designer Anne Meplon

Jewelry designer Anne Meplon has always been in awe of beauty and intrigued with its many manifestations. For years she has been seeking ways to express the fullness of that beauty, a fullness that comes from the awareness of being inhabited by something so great, so mighty, so abundant, so peaceful, that one can no longer repress the greatness nor the overwhelming gratitude of the heart.

For many years, the Yogic way of life, and the many deities in the Hindu pantheon, symbolizing the different qualities and aspects of that fullness within, have inspired Anne. At one point along her life's journey, she landed at the feet of the great mother, Lakshmi, the great goddess that inhabits each one of us. In her endless manifestations, Anne found a source of endless inspiration. That inspiration is at the core of all the work that she does.

While Anne has been designing jewelry for most of her life, only recently has she put her designs up for sale. Much of her devotion and interest in spiritual jewelry was nurtured while she studied for 8 years in an Indian Ashram - both in the United States and India.

Her international connections don't stop there. Born and raised in Lille, France, Anne once was an actress in the Paris theater circuit before moving to the U.S. After stints in Amsterdam and London coordinating large events, theatre and television productions, she settled in the San Francisco Bay Area where the natural environment and the people she meets inspire her continually.

One day, Anne will make documentary films as inspiring as her jewelry.
